The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE) is a new futures exchange that is owned by the Chicago Board Options Exchange. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission approved CFE as a contract market in August 2003. CFE is a fully electronic exchange that uses CBOEdirect as its trading platform.
