Time

Active, represents the time of the last update. Completed, represents the end time of the Auction.

The Opening Auction call starts at 07:50 UK time and lasts for 10 minutes with the addition of a random end period up to 30secs long. The Closing Auction call begins at 16:30 UK time and lasts for 5 minutes with the addition of a random end period up to 30secs long.

Both the Opening and Closing Auctions support extensions. Market order imbalance: triggered by the presence of unmatched (unallocated) market order interest in the order book. Price monitoring extension: triggered when the equilibrium price determined is greater than 5% away from the reference price.

The maximum possible extension is 6 minutes:
(3x market order imbalance extension + 3x random ends + 3x price monitoring extension + 3x random ends).

Reference Price

The Reference Price is defined as the last order book traded price, open or close price; whichever is the most recent; if none of these exist then the prospectus price or equivalent shall be used.

Indicative Price

The price at which the auction book would match according to the Auction Match Algorithm. Shares in the auction book may be unmatched at the Indicative Price. At the conclusion of an auction if volume matched is greater than zero the indicative price will be the auction price.

Further information on the Auction Match Algorithm can be found in the Auctions Guidance Note.

Matched Volume

The number of shares executed during the auction.

Previous Closing Price

The price at which the ETF closed on the previous trading day.
