QUESTION:
Are LEAPS (Long Term Equity AnticiPation Securities) available only on specific equity securities, or can you buy leaps on indices. Where do I find prices on LEAPS?

ANSWER:
LEAPS can be purchased on approximately 10% to 15% of all stocks that have options listed. To find a list of equity securities and indices you can go to the CBOE website at http://www.cboe.com/TradTool/Symbols/SymbolDirectory.asp to find available LEAPS options. To find prices you can click on the following link http://www.cboe.com/MktQuote/ and receive real-time quotes through a pay service or receive 20 minute delayed quotes free through our site.
