Trade Entry Tool
The Trade Entry tool is specific to the Cboe Options Exchange (C1). This tool allows users to enter the other side of unmatched trades after identifying them in the Unmatched Trade Tool. Users can be assigned Clearing Firm or Broker Group authorization. Clearing Firm authorization allows a user to enter trades for all EFIDs related to a clearing firm. Broker group authorization allows a user to enter trades for permissioned EFIDs. A maximum of ten (10) trades may be entered on a single page.
For every trade a user must populate the following required fields: Floor Acronym (broker), Broker ID (clearing firm), Quantity, Put/Call, Class, Expiration Day, Expiration Price Dollar, Expiration Price Fractional/Cents, Penny Price Dollar, Penny Price Fractional/Cents, and Reason. Tab through the screen to navigate the required fields.
The Trade Entry tool will provide the StrategyID (FIX Tag 22002) from the original trade when the Original ExecID for Reversal and Original Side for Reversal fields are populated.
