Block and ECRP Trades
This tool is specific to the Cboe Futures Exchange. It allows CFE Authorized Reporters to input and accept or reject Block and ECRP Trades. Only CFE Authorized Reporters can successfully submit Block and ECRP Futures and Options trades to the CFE Matching Engine. For options on futures trades, only blocks are supported. Submission and acceptance of Block and ECRP Trades can also be completed by using the Block/ECRP Trade Reporting service via the Secure Web API. Authorized Reporters may use either the API or the Block/ECRP Trade Reporting Tool to accept trades. Likewise, an Authorized Reporter may use the API to accept a trade even if the originating trade was submitted through the Block/ECRP Trade Reporting Tool. For API details refer to the Cboe Titanium U.S. Secure Web API Specification.
The Block/ECRP Reporting tool supports entry of multi-leg trades of up to four legs. Authorized Reporters will only be able to enter volumes for the first leg. The tool will populate proportional volumes to additional legs for the contra party information for review by the authorized reporter based on the relative leg volumes.
