Update - Cboe Options to Support GTH and Curb Trading of RUT and RUTW

Effective trade date February 9, 2026, Cboe Options Exchange (C1) will allow trading of RUT Index Options during the Global Trading Hours (GTH) and Curb trading sessions.

Currently, RUT and RUTW options cannot be traded during GTH or Curb trading sessions. On the effective trade date, trading of RUT and RUTW options will be enabled in GTH and Curb trading sessions. The Curb session runs from 4:15 p.m ET to 5:00 p.m. ET and the GTH session runs from 8:15 p.m. ET to 9:25 a.m. ET. RUT and RUTW orders must be submitted with SessionEligibility (FIX Tag 22017) = A to participate in GTH. Orders can be submitted with SessionEligibility = A or B to participate in the Curb session.

GTC Orders carried over from prior trading days will retain their session eligibility. Previously-entered all session eligible GTC orders will become eligible for participation in the GTH and Curb sessions on the effective date.

MRUT index options will continue to trade during RTH only and will not be eligible for GTH or Curb trading.

This functionality is currently available for testing in the C1 certification environment.
