Schedule Update - Cboe Options to Enable Quoted XSP Vertical Spreads

Effective trade date June 15, 2026 June 1, 2026, Cboe Options Exchange (C1) will introduce XSP Vertical Spreads to the Quoted Spread Book (QSB) Service. Using the QSB service, Market Makers can submit quotes in these complex instruments to provide liquid markets in select spreads designated by the Exchange. The QSB is intended to tighten displayed markets and improve execution quality by enabling consistent quoting in the designated verticals.

Upon the effective date, $1-wide XSP Vertical Spreads (Call Spreads and Put Spreads) will be added to the Quoted Spread Book service. Each trading date, all possible $1-wide Vertical Call Spreads and $1-wide Vertical Put Spreads, based on currently listed XSP strikes, will be designated for QSB for 0DTE and 1DTE (i.e., same-day and next-day) expirations only. The max payout will be $100 per 1-lot with the standard XSP multiplier.

Market Makers can bulk quote the designated $1-wide XSP Vertical Spreads using BOE Complex Quote Update and Complex Quote Update (Short) messages over BOE Bulk Quoting Ports or by resting orders in the order book using the BOE New Complex Order message.

Quoted XSP Vertical Spreads are currently available to test in the C1 certification environment.
