The iShares MSCI EAFE Growth ETF seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI EAFE Growth Index (the Underlying Index), which is a subset of the MSCI EAFE Index. The MSCI EAFE Index has been developed by MSCI Inc. (the Index Provider or MSCI) to measure the equity market performance of developed markets outside of the U.S. and Canada Constituents of the Underlying Index include securities of companies located in Europe, Australasia and the Far East. The Underlying Index generally represents approximately 50% of the free float-adjusted market capitalization of the MSCI EAFE Index and consists of those securities classified by MSCI as most representing the growth style. Securities classified as growth style generally tend to have higher forecasted earnings growth rates, lower book value to price ratios, lower forward earnings to price ratios and lower dividend yields than those of securities representing the value style.
