The iShares Core MSCI EAFE ETF seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI EAFE IMI Index (the Underlying Index), which has been developed by MSCI Inc. (the Index Provider or MSCI) as an equity benchmark for international stock performance. The Underlying Index is designed to measure large-, mid- and small-capitalization equity market performance and includes stocks from Europe, Australasia and the Far East and, as of July 31, 2017, consisted of stocks from the following 21 developed market countries or regions: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom (the U.K.).
