In 2008, Cale founded Islamorada Investment Management which in 2024 became Bastion Fiduciary upon acquiring another fee-only Registered Investment Adviser. Prior to IIM, Cale served as an analyst at a number of independent investment firms and equity research providers.
Cale is a veteran and an honors graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He received an MBA from the College of William & Mary and competed in the Olympic rowing trials as a single sculler.
